One of a Kind - Ocean Collection

Purple and white curved stripes of a tide-weathered bit of shell; I spent hours along the shoreline of the Outer Banks hunting these beautifully colored shells that were tumbled smooth like a different kind of beach glass. After the devastating storms that buffeted the coast between last October 2025 until February 2026, I went back to collect more of these specific shells that used to be so abundant in the sand. They were all but washed away, and I went home with only a handful. They are now a rare and limited resource until the sea decides to lay them out on the beach again. 

Sparkling sterling silver earrings featuring the Quahog shell, long prized by the native Americans for their soft purples and stripes in its organic natural form, accented above with rosecut faceted amethyst, and below with faceted clear quartz. The back is textured with a lighthouse motif.
