Wings Of Glory Necklace

Bullet cartridge with wings

President Roosevelt’s fireside chats on the radio… Rosie The Riveter posters about town… The headlines read “Roosevelt, Stalin, Churchill Agree On Plans For War On Germany”. In London black-outs hide entire towns from enemy bombers, and the chilling howl of air-raid sirens can be heard more frequently. Finally, in May of 1945, newspapers and radios all around the world proclaimed the end of World War II.

A .22 caliber bronze bullet casing with wings raised in a Victory pose is antiqued to give it a vintage look. Strung on an antiqued copper chain with lobster claw clasp. Centerpiece itself is about 1-1/8″ wide by 3/4″ long including bail. Matching earrings are available.
