A naturally shed deer antler tip is set in antiqued sterling silver, encircled with a feather stamped bezel. I have not altered the antler in any way, it has the nicks and other markings consistent with a life lived in the wilderness.
Measurements: Ring face is about 5/8″ x 3/4″. Antler measures 1-5/8″ tall. Ring is USA size 7.5.
Antler: A sacred animal with the spirit of gentleness and softness, a messenger, a shaman; maize and femininity personified. Like a crown, the antlers grow beyond its body, bringing it closer to the sky and making it sacred. In many cultures, the deer is a symbol of spiritual authority. The usual correspondences for the antler are Masculine, Solar and the elements of Fire and Earth. Because deer shed and regrow their antlers, the antler has long been tied to the annual death and resurrection of the sun. The antlered stag represents wisdom, nobility, protection, and the cycle of death and rebirth.
