The nubbly texture of this antler is rare, most antlers are smooth. A naturally shed antler is capped in textured sterling silver and set with a beautiful teal blue turquoise cabochon on either side. I have set the stone on both sides because one side of the antler is white, the other side is tinged with brown, so it can be worn with either side facing out. Small brass fleur de lis symbols encircle the cap, and there is a tiny signature star near one of the gemstones. The large bail is embellished with a copper vine motif across the surface.
The antler is completely natural and has not been polished or altered in any way. There are natural wear marks, scratches, dings, and discolorations that may be present which is all a consequence of nature and a life lived in the wild.
This amulet comes with a 32″ 3mm leather cord in either black or dark weathered brown, completed with sterling silver ends and lobster claw clasp.
Please specify in the notes box during checkout as to what color cord you would like, or if you need a different length.
Antler, not including bail, measures 7/8″ wide by 2-5/8″ long. Bail adds another 1/2″ in length.
