Returns & Exchanges

Black Water Siren Studio stands behind the fine craftsmanship of our jewelry. We guarantee the craftsmanship and materials used in our work, and all jewelry is inspected before shipment for any defect in workmanship. We guarantee against manufacturer’s defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase from Black Water Siren Studio or an authorized distributor or gallery. We guarantee that our products will be “as stated”. All products have been checked for quality before the product is shipped to you.

Returns for Refund

We accept returns for exchange or refund. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, send it back to us within fourteen (14) days of the invoice date. Original sales receipt must accompany returns with a note enclosed as to why you are returning your piece. Items must be in “new, unaltered and unused condition”. Definition of new, unaltered and unused condition is:

♦  without showing signs of wear or damage in any way
♦  within 14 calendar days of the invoice date (after 14 days no returns or exchanges are allowed)
♦  must not be a special order or a custom order

Carefully package the merchandise to be returned in the original packaging or a protective mailer, enclose the original receipt and indicate the reason for return on the original sales receipt you received with your purchase, and mail your item(s) to our office. Some exclusions apply. If your package did not include a sales receipt because you are outside the USA, just write your reason for return on a piece of paper and include it.

Credits will be issued to the original form of payment within 3-10 business days of our receipt. Please be aware that shipping charges are nonrefundable. Cash refunds will be issued by check. Merchandise returned with a gift receipt will be issued credit in the form of an exchange or a Black Water Siren gift certificate.

If you made your purchase with a credit card, we will refund the charge and the credit should be reflected on your next statement, depending on the issuing bank and/or billing cycle. Please note, your financial institution may take up to 10 days or more to process your refund and credit your account.

Purchases of certain sale and promotional items cannot be returned. Each piece will specify whether or not it is final sale on any promotional materials and/or advertisements, and that returns are not accepted.

Any stock, standard, limited edition, advertised one-of-a-kind, or non-commissioned item may be returned for refund, credit or exchange within fourteen days of invoice date as long as the item is in its original, unused condition, with no missing, broken, or exchanged stones and the finish of both metal and stones are unscratched and unmarred. Original shipping charges and credit card fees (if any) are not refundable on returns (unless the item was damaged in its original shipment to you).

Any standard item that is customized (ring sizing, adding stones, etc.) is not returnable for refund (unless it was damaged in shipping), but may be returned for full credit or exchange.

Returning Custom Work

Jewelry that is solely created as a custom design on a commission basis is not returnable unless the item you receive arrives damaged. If the custom designed item arrives damaged we will repair or replace it. Our guarantee is that the piece will match the final design you approved including the dimensions of the piece, the stones and metals used.

If you are returning an item for exchange please include your full name, phone number, shipping address and email. Please note, shipping charges apply to exchanged item.

You can exchange any regular priced item for a different item – will issue a refund for the original item, and you can purchase a new item on

Typical turnaround time for returns & exchanges: Once we receive the merchandise, typical turnaround is about 1-2 weeks, but may be longer during peak holiday periods.

Price Adjustment Policy

If a purchase is made and the item or items purchased goes on sale or clearance within seven (7) days of original transaction, a price adjustment may be requested. If your request is eligible, the price difference will be refunded in the form of a gift card or shop credit from exclusively.

Sale Item Return Policy

Items discounted 30% off or more from their original price are final sale. These items are not eligible for exchange or refund.

Important Note for All Returns & Exchanges

Please use a method of shipping that you can track as we cannot be responsible for items we do not receive. While we do our best to make sure that your package gets to you, we cannot guarantee that your country’s postal service and/or customs office will complete the delivery of your package to you. Once the package leaves our hands we are not responsible for loss or theft of the package in transit. We are not responsible for  missing packages where tracking shows the package has been delivered. We do not refund payments that were made more than thirty (30) days prior to today’s date. reserves the right to reject returns sent or communicated beyond the return period limit, or items which are not in the same condition in which they were received.
