Sonoran Desert Lizard Earrings
One Of A Kind
A lizard scampers across
a sandy terrain, darting from sagebrush to tumbleweed. The sky is
vibrant light blue, rusty oranges and browns dotting the landscape,
the heated breath of summer lazily winding swirls of dust through the
canyon.
The earrings begin at the top with an inverted teardrop set with a
faceted blue topaz, a small bundle of burnished copper twigs beneath.
Suspended from a faceted russet orange hessonite garnet rondelle, a
triangular backdrop of patterned sterling silver features a bronze
highly detailed lizard next to a bezel-set turquoise cabochon. Three
hand faceted natural Kingman turquoise marquise briolettes swing
below, accented in the center with a tiny signature star.
The turquoise in these photos is more on the blue side as compared to
what it appears here as an aqua blue - it is hard to correctly capture
turquoise with a digital camera. These turquoise briolettes have
natural color variations and matrix patterning on them. They are
genuine Kingman turquoise are untreated, not dyed or stabilized.

Crystal Necklace
She glides restlessly,
silently through the cobbled alleys, barely a shadow among the shadows
touching empty windows and ivy-covered brick. Hood drawn, cape
swirling about her ankles, a glimpse of pale alabaster skin and dark,
blood red lips caught in the moonlight...
A mesmerizing trio of natural quartz crystal points have been treated
with titanium, giving them a mysterious grey vintage tint and
beautiful flashes of purple across the surface. This darkly enchanting
necklace is constructed with oxidized copper wire, antique copper
chain draped in a scalloped edge and fringed with a multitude of
iridescent black faceted crystal beads, and adorned on either side
with metallic silver crystal beads.
Chain is about 16" up to 18" long with 2" extension.

spring rain pelting big splashes on the tin roof above her. Big wet
sparkling teardrops trailed into rivulets down the open sliding glass
doors to the garden, bringing in the scent of rich dark earth and
lilac. The rain would soon give way to a brilliant rainbow, she knew,
and waited...
A copper roof covers abstract houses of patterned sterling silver, a
cascade of blue iolite faceted rondelles and marquise briolettes
tumbling down the front and sparkling below, adorned with a tiny

Wings Of Glory - .22 Bullet Cartridge Pendant
President Roosevelt's fireside chats on the radio... Rosie The Riveter
posters about town... The headlines read "Roosevelt, Stalin, Churchill
Agree On Plans For War On Germany". In London black-outs hide entire
towns from enemy bombers, and the chilling howl of air-raid sirens can
be heard more frequently. Finally, in May of 1945, newspapers and
radios all around the world proclaimed the end of World War II.
A .22 bullet casing with wings spread in a Victory pose is antiqued to
give it a vintage look. Strung on a blackened cable chain with lobster
clasp.

One Of A Kind
Impalement was Vlad's
preferred method of torture and execution. Several woodcuts from
German pamphlets of the late 15th and early 16th centuries show Vlad
feasting in a forest of stakes and their grisly burdens, while a
nearby executioner cuts apart other victims. It was reported that an
invading Ottoman army turned back in fright when it encountered
thousands of rotting corpses on the banks of the Danube. It has also
been said that in 1462 Mehmed II, the conqueror of Constantinople, a
man noted for his own psychological warfare tactics, returned to
Constantinople after being sickened by the sight of 20,000 impaled
corpses.
Abstract crescents of distressed and studded sterling silver are
adorned with a row of hand carved ox bone skull beads alternating with
tiny spikes.
