1. BASE/ROOT CHAKRA –RED-MUSICAL NOTE C

It is located at the base of your spine. It's the Chakra closest to the earth and represents earthly grounding. Fear is felt in this Chakra and it controls your fight or flight response. It is the Chakra of  survival.   Drive, ambition, grounding one’s energy in the physical dimension.  Stimulating the Root Chakra can increase vitality.

2. SACRAL /NAVEL CHAKRA-ORANGE-MUSICAL NOTE D

It is located between the base of your spine and your navel. It represents your sexuality, reproduction, creativity. It is positioned in the area between the navel and the pubic bone. Depending on which sources you read, it can be shown to be centered on the navel itself or to be aligned with the sexual organs-ovaries in women and testes in men.  Stimulating the Sacral Chakra can bring self-confidence.

3. SOLAR PLEXUS-YELLOW-MUSICAL NOTE E

It is located in the solar plexus area, approximately midway between the end of the breastbone and the navel.   Personal emotions are carried in this Chakra. Feelings of personal power, anger and hostility. Your sensitivity is stored here. It is the seat of your emotional living.  Stimulating the Solar Plexus can  help with mood elevation and alleviates exhaustion and burnout.

4. HEART-GREEN-MUSICAL NOTE F

It is located within your heart. It is the center of love, harmony and peace. The Asians say that this is the house of the soul as it deals with issues of the soul. It is through this Chakra that we fall in love. We fall in love through our heart Chakra, then that emotion moves to the emotional center, the solar plexus, then to the sexual Chakra for strong feelings of attractions, then to the base, which promotes feelings of wanting to settle down.  The heart is associated with compassion, friendship, empathy, and the ability to give and receive love.  Sometimes the heart chakra is shown as pink, especially in relationship to sending love out from the heart.  Stimulating the Heart Chakra can bring balance and harmony. 

The thymus Chakra is located just above the heart and corresponds to the note F.  Some people believe that this is a beneficial note for the immune system.

5. THROAT –AZURE BLUE-MUSICAL NOTE G

It is positioned at the base of the throat. It is the Chakra of communication, expression and judgment and speaking ones truth. Should you experience problems with your throat, it is sometimes said that if you draw the color blue to this area it will help you say what needs to be said. Stimulating the Throat Chakra brings lightness, peace, calm and helps with sleep.  

6. THIRD EYE/BROW CHAKRA-INDIGO-MUSICAL NOTE A

It is located at the center of your forehead. This Chakra is used to question the spiritual nature of our life. It is the Chakra of question. Our inner vision is contained here, inner dreams gifts of clairvoyance, wisdom, understanding, and perception. The dreams of our life are held in this Chakra.  Stimulating the Brow Chakra helps build a positive outlook, increases intuition and brings inner strength.

 7. CROWN/HEAD CHAKRA-VIOLET-MUSICAL NOTE B

It is located at the top of your head. It is the Chakra of Divine purpose, the Chakra of destiny. It balances the interior and the exterior and brings them into a harmonious whole. This Chakra is said to be your own place of connection to God. It is associated with cosmic awareness, highest spirituality, and complete integration with Source. Stimulating the Crown Chakra brings higher understanding and calm.
